Cream rises to the top, and this highly allocated, bottled in bond whiskey should be at the top of your wish list. There isn’t a lot to go around, so it should probably go into your cart before it’s stuck on that wish list forever. Introduced in 1888, re-introduced in 1934, and then brought to new heights by distilling legend Jim Rutledge, the six-year, 100-proof, Cream of Kentucky straight rye-whiskey is a top-shelf stalwart. It is distilled, aged, and bottled at Kentucky Artisan Distillery in Crestwood, Kentucky with a limited production of only 70 barrels. Jim picked the barrels himself for this beauty, and there’s no denying the superb tasting experience that awaits you.

Tasting Notes
Aromas of spearmint, cinnamon, brown sugar and black pepper find a little floral fruitiness and a hint of pipe tobacco. The finish is mellow and medium-long with more black pepper, cayenne and a light raisin note.
