This new Cuervo y Sobrinos Torpedo Caribeno GMT Pirata men’s automatic watch is a stunning, unique timepiece that recalls a time when pirates and corsairs roamed the Caribbean. A gorgeous watch, to be sure, it is one of only 125 watches produced in a highly limited-edition series. It possesses a self-winding automatic movement, and it features the ETA 2893-A2 caliber, 25 jewels, 28,800 vph, and a 42-hour power reserve.
Beneath the antireflective sapphire crystal one encounters a velvety black-colored dial with an intriguing combination of Arabic and Roman numerals. There is a second time zone GMT hand that points to an alternating arrangement of Arabic numerals and anchors. This watch features applied numbers and point minutes, skeleton hour, minute, and GMT hands filled with SuperLuminova, a sweep seconds hand, as well as twelve SuperLuminova-filled points.

About the Designer
In 1882 Armando Rio y Cuervo and his brothers assumed the management of a jewelry business in Havana, Cuba, that was established by their uncle Ramón. This is the origin of the name Cuervo y Sobrinos, which means Cuervo and nephews.
