This brand-new Cuervo y Sobrinos Torpedo Pirata men’s automatic watch is a stunning, unique timepiece that recalls a time when pirates and corsairs roamed the Caribbean. Its case is constructed of bronze, titanium, and burnished steel, and the watch features the CYS 5102 caliber (base ETA 2824-2 / SW 200-1); ETA mvt.: 25 jewels, SW mvt.: 26 jewels; 28,800 vph; and a 38-hour power reserve.
Beneath the antireflective sapphire crystal one finds a subtle and sophisticated bronze-colored dial and an intriguing mixture of Arabic and Roman numerals. This watch features applied numbers and point minutes, skeleton hour and minute hands filled with SuperLuminova, as well as twelve SuperLuminova-filled points. The black rubber strap has a titanium prong buckle engraved with Cuervo y Sobrinos.

About the Designer
In 1882 Armando Rio y Cuervo and his brothers assumed the management of a jewelry business in Havana, Cuba, that was established by their uncle Ramón. This is the origin of the name Cuervo y Sobrinos, which means Cuervo and nephews.
