This new Cuervo y Sobrinos Torpedo Pirata Horas del Mundo men’s automatic watch is an ingenious, unique timepiece that recalls a time when pirates and corsairs roamed the Caribbean. It possesses a self-winding automatic movement, and it features the ETA 2893-A2 caliber, 25 jewels, 28,800 vph, and a 42-hour power reserve.
Beneath the antireflective sapphire crystal one encounters a dial like no other. The ingenious design allows one to simultaneously read the time in 24 locations spanning the entire globe. The locations are imprinted upon the outer dial in a lovely curving script. Note the prominence of Habana. The two-tone inner 24-hour dial allows one to differentiate between day/night hours.

About the Designer
In 1882 Armando Rio y Cuervo and his brothers assumed the management of a jewelry business in Havana, Cuba, that was established by their uncle Ramón. This is the origin of the name Cuervo y Sobrinos, which means Cuervo and nephews.
