dBud // Volume Adjustable Earplugs

Each volume setting has its own sound characteristics:

THE CLOSED SETTING
The usual problem with earplugs is that they kill both the volume and the sound. Uneven attenuation across high and low tones leads to a muffled and distorted sound. dBud is different. The closed setting has a very flat attenuation of around 30dB across the entire frequency spectrum. This means less distortion of the sound coming through to your ear, giving you the clearest possible sound experience, with significantly reduced volume.

THE OPEN SETTING
The acoustic filter is designed to alter the attenuation curve so that it lets frequencies of typical human speech through with less reduction, while other frequencies are more muted. This means that background noise is toned down, but you can still clearly hear and communicate with people standing close to you.

dBud is meant for filtering real-world noise only. It doesn't play music or attach to any devices, which means it contains zero electronics, and requires no charging or hassle. It also includes 3 sizes of memory foam eartips and 3 sizes of silicone eartips for a custom fit. With a built-in magnet snap and an attachable leash so that you can wear them around your neck, dBud will always be in reach - or you can keep them in the soft pocket-sized case for safe transportation and storage.
