Product Description

Inspired by the setting sun, Here Comes the Sun is a remarkable pendant lamp that takes on a magical quality once lit. Architect Here Comes the Sun is a remarkable pendant lamp that takes on a magical quality once illuminated.

Architect Bertrand Balas began his career in 1962 in Paris before returning to his home in Toulouse in search of a simpler way of life. He began working as a designer for Raak in 1965, where he was free from the usual constraints to imagine entirely new shapes, volumes, colors, and matters without precise obligations.

Balas created Here Comes the Sun in 1970 to capture the beauty of the setting sun over the Garonne river. The open globe shade allows for warm, even lighting when lit and serves as a sculptural work of art when it's off. Hang one on its own or arrange several in a cluster to create a stunning statement piece for any space.
