About the Designer

Founded in 2001 by sisters, Sandra Dermond and Susan Peterson, Dermond Peterson is an artisan/manufacturing company that combines the rich, tactile qualities of “fine-art” printmaking techniques with innovative and slyly conceptual design strategies to produce fresh, functional textiles for everyday use at home.

Although frequently teetering on the brink of abstraction, they focus on the figurative traditions of textile design, presenting a range of imagery that takes on the classic motifs of domestic design and playfully explores the iconography (& clichés) of home fashion.
