designimdorf was set up in 1993 by Stefan Spitz, a Black Forest “Meister” turner in the fourth generation. Company strength comes from over 100 years of skilled wood-linked craftsmanship. What used to be a well-established turner mastery, is now a forward-looking company which honors its core material, natural black forest wood.

designimdorf continues to work with local wood according to old craft tradition while incorporating modern techniques. The results are solid high quality products with pleasing aesthetics and innovative design highlighting the natural qualities of wood.
