In short, this slack hardtail got even faster. The frame geometry has been kept quick and stable, it’s still a bike you can manual through bumps and flick around — although with three inch wide tires at low air pressures, you may not need to: this bike sticks like glue to the trail, opening up new lines on trails you thought you had dialed. It climbs like the efficient hardtail it is, with a wide range 1x11 drivetrain putting power to the ground with incredible grip. When it’s time to descend, lower the dropper post and let out a howl as the 130mm Fox 34 Float fork works together with the ample rubber to gobble up the trail. For riders looking to push their riding and convention, the Mason Comp delivers insane traction and performance.
