During a surf trip in 2012, founders Tim and Robbert became annoyed by the sheer amount of plastic waste floating in the ocean. That was the moment when they came up with an idea: to turn plastic waste into high quality sunglasses. DICK MOBY® is an Amsterdam-based, independent and sustainable eyewear brand that explores the sunny side of plastic. They like to use and reuse plastic without creating more waste in the process.
