Dirk Nykamp

Dirk Nykamp is a trained craftsman who has spent the past 15 years immersed in reclaimed materials and architectural salvage. He and the DND staff of 15 craftspeople and artisans have designed and built multiple retail stores, restaurants and bars around the country; always integrating primarily reclaimed materials into the design and construction. During this same time DND has designed and created multiple furniture and home furnishing items as well. Dirk is driven by a desire to bring to reality items that are as perfect in their design as they are in their construction. Timeless pieces that, through the materials, tell a story - but that can stand alone just as well on the merit of their design and construction. The Wine Bottle and Mason Jar Chandeliers meet his criteria and exacting standards perfectly.
