The Moroccan city of Chefchaouen is known as the ‘Blue Pearl of Morocco.’ The walls and doors of this town are renowned throughout the world for being bathed in countless shades of blue. The light of the sun plays a subtle symphony in the key of blue and being surrounded by those walls brought a calming appreciation for the beauties of each tone…none exactly like the rest, yet, all uniquely evocative. The light of this piece replicates that symphony, shining through and revealing the hidden depths of blue just waiting to be seen and loved.
This sculpture is entirely handcrafted by artist Dorit Schwartz, complete with a metal base and built-in lighting for an even more striking effect.
