All imagery has been painstakingly recreated by hand to preserve the color and details of the original art. Will a piece of standard 8.5”x11” paper lay flat in this?

The inner dimensions are 8.5" long by 6.5" wide and about 7" deep. So comics, (most) magazines, and papers fit in nicely.

The outer dimensions are approximately 11" long by 8" wide. The extra space is taken up by the side fork pockets and hinges.
