Meadowcroft is the namesake of Winegrower Tom Meadowcroft. Meadowcroft Wines are award-winning, vineyard-specific, and limited in production, expressing both a European wine heritage and California creativity. These signature reserve wines are made from premium fruit from sustainable and responsible vineyards throughout northern California. The Meadowcroft family name means “the fertile field on the meadow… with a garden that has been carefully nurtured over time.” The hallmark honeybee on the label symbolizes hard work, the journey of mastering a discipline, and the process of transforming grapes from single vineyards into outstanding and award-winning wines.

With layered aromas of cherry, strawberry, vanilla, and blackberry, the 2018 Meadowcroft Speedy Creek Vineyard Sangiovese has plush tannins with balanced acidity. Wonderful notes of fresh strawberry mingle with earthy leather with white pepper on the velvety finish.

It's a perfect date wine to pair with a brasserie-style steak au poivre or classic Italian fare such as baked cheese-stuffed shells, carbonara, or tagliata with arugula. Drink now through 2024.
