More than a decade before the first Elos became available to the public, Tom Wang, the founder of Elos, was helping his friends enjoy the freedom of skateboarding. Most skateboards on the market are designed to perform in extreme sports, and are not the easiest boards to learn on, so Tom started building skateboards that would be stable for new learners and still be fun for experienced skateboarders. The super compact Elos Skateboard weighs no more than a laptop, and features a race car inspired design that's ergonomically shaped for enhanced stability and maneuverability.
