About the Designer

Emilio Cavallini was born in San Miniato, Italy in 1945. He studied Economics and Business at the University of Florence but dropped out to pursue his true calling: fashion. He worked in a hosiery factory and opened his own tights brand in 1970; in 2013 his name is synonymous with high fashion hosiery designs that play on artistic and conceptual motifs.
