PIUMA, from the Italian word for feather, is a paragon of minimalism, a study of functional simplicity. It is a fountain pen precision-machined from solid aluminum with a stealthy matte black finish and fitted with a super smooth German-made nib tipped with iridium. Each component has been meticulously designed taking in consideration its function and aesthetic. The interchangeable nib system screws inside the pen grip and resides a couple of millimeters in to create a unibody appearance. The cap threads are wider and allow a fast opening and closing of the pen. In addition, a milimetric-rounded gap defines the connection between the cap and the body. what type of ink cartridge? Where do you order the ink? How much do they cost?The Piuma uses standard international ink cartridges. In addition, it comes equipped with an ink converter for bottled ink. Ink is very affordable and available at large retailers. Just search for fountain pen ink or ink cartridges.
Can the cap be posted on the end of the pen? What is the length of the pen uncapped?Yes, the pen can be posted but would make the pen too long for comfortably writing.
