The 2018 Limited Edition Tepeztate-Tobalá Ensamble is a limited expression of about 800 bottles total. This mezcal is a rare blend of 2 wild agaves with dramatically different personalities and flavor profiles.The two agaves are married from the beginning and are roasted, fermented, and distilled together to achieve a beautiful, cohesive flavor.

Awarded 93 Points by Wine Enthusiast, this is one of the very few Ensambles of wild Tepeztate and Tobalá in the US, and likely the only 50/50 blend available. The Tepeztate-Tobalá Ensamble is Tepeztate forward, meaning the verdant, vegetal, and pear notes of the Tepeztate appear first, before it expands into the Tobalá’s sweeter fruit notes and rounder body.
