FAQ

Does it need to be under specific conditions in order to glow (i.e.glowing only after exposure to sunlight)?

You can rock your ring naturally outside and it will collect a glow throughout the day or use a UV flashlight to charge it quickly. We've also tested this with a regular flashlight but the glow isn't as powerful as UV light and takes much longer to charge.

What is the width?

The width is 8mm. The inlay spacing is 4mm.

Does this glow at night?

The inlay glows in the dark as long as it has been charged with light. It is best charged with UV light but regular light will also charge the strontium aluminate but it will take much longer.

How long does it glow?

The glow can last for 2-5 minutes depending on how long it has been in the light, and what kind of light source is charging the ring inlay. If you use a UV flashlight, you will charge the ring almost immediately and it will last for a long time.

Will this ring turn your finger green?

This ring will not turn your skin green. The ring is tungsten metal which does not contain any nickel.

I’m not understanding the colors. The first two pictures show a dark color band (either gray or brown). The last two pictures show a silver band. How do I select the darker band color?

The band is only silver in color like the last two images. What you’re seeing is likely a lighting effect.

Can the ring be resized?

The ring cannot be resized because it is tungsten metal.
