BaseCamp is 21ft x 12ft monstrosity of a hammock, designed for group hammocking in community spaces. Originally created for a music festival in Thailand, this hammock is a party in itself, and a portable gathering space pulling people together in the spirit of inclusion.

Each handcrafted hammock also helps provide a sustainable living wage for stay-at-home seamstresses in Northern Thailand.

How far should the posts be to set up this hammock?

You will hang the straps about 7-9ft high and 25-30ft apart.

Is it waterproof?

These are not waterproof, however, they wash and air dry very easily.

Is this flammable?

It is made from nylon taffeta and is not flammable but can burn if you light it on fire. Best to not smoke or light lighters inside hanging in a hammock.
