Product Description

John “Grizzly” Adams embodied the name “Grizzly” with harrowing adventurers to capture and tame bears throughout the west. In the winter 1854, Grizzly Adams captured a massive grizzly in California. The grizzly weighed in at an astonishing 1,500 pounds and Grizzly Adams later named him Samson. Adams would frequently take on bears up close with nothing but his knife. Late in his life, Adams joined P.T. Barnum as part of his show and performed with his trained bears.

A big and heavy knife, the heft of this knife will surprise you. It is well balanced for such a large knife, and ergonomic finger grooves make the knife feel great in your hand. A thick Micarta handle ensures you have solid hold when using this burly blade. Saw-tooth notches down the spine allow you to saw through wood or rope if needed. A thick, handmade leather sheath finishes off this amazing knife and makes it easy to carry.

Please note: Each knife is handmade from natural materials, there will be some variation in color, Damascus pattern and overall look. The knife you receive will have the same attention to quality and detail as the one pictured but may differ slightly in appearance.
