Product Description

This gorgeous Septarian Sphere was carved from a nodule found in Madagascar. Septarian nodules were formed as clay balls on the ocean floor during the Cretaceous period 70 million years ago, and over time, the balls cracked and were filled with minerals. The brown lines are aragonite, the yellow ones are calcite, and the grey rock is limestone.
