Fred of Paris

Some people’s destinies are written in the stars, but it was diamonds, pearls, and multi-colored stones that studded the destiny of Fred Samuel of Fred of Paris. He grew up in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, born in 1906 to French parents who emigrated to Argentina. Influenced by his father’s profession as a gem dealer, Fred eventually moved back to France to study jewelry himself. His first shop opened in Paris in 1936, and he quickly made a name for himself with his eye catching designs. Fred of Paris continues to be a leader in the jewelry business, releasing pieces inspired by life, light, movement and energy.
