About the Designer

Frederic Jouvenot was born in Switzerland in 1977. He was interested in all things small and mechanical from a young age and achieved his first Swiss Federal Micro Mechanical Certificate in 1998. He follows this up with Swiss Technical and Commerical Diplomas in Micro Techniques.

After working for various Swiss watchmakers in La Chaux-de-Fonds developing complex movements such as Dior’s famous “Grand Ball” collection, in 2008 Frederic ventured out to start his own brand. Finally he would be able to bring his ideas which had built over time to their full fruition. His first watch, a chronograph with a mechanism fully visible from the side, was in instant hit. In 2010 he was proud to present his Helios collection at Baselworld. With this timepiece, he won the Geneva Superwatch award. In 2012, he followed that up with his Solar Deity Collection. In 2014 he received further awards in Geneva for his Surya watch.
