Veuve Ambal is a family-run winery established over 100 years ago in the heart of the Burgundy region. It was founded by Marie Ambal, the widow of a Parisian banker, when she returned to her native village of Rully to join her brother, a wine-lover and wine broker. At the time, the méthode traditionelle was being introduced for sparkling wines, and Veuve Ambal wines immediately gained recognition. Marie Ambal's grandson, Charles Roux Ambal, followed by his grandson and current president Eric Piffaut, have continued to build on Marie’s philosophy of quality, and the combination of tradition and modernity which is the signature of Veuve Ambal.

With over 250 hectares of vineyards planted to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in six regions across Burgundy, including the best terroirs in Chablis, Châtillonnais (close to Champagne), Saint-Aubin, and Mâcon, Veuve Ambal counts itself among the major owner-producers in the Burgundy region. Their philosophy of sustainable viticulture and winemaking is paramount to their success, and they are one of the leaders in the production of Crémant de Bourgogne today.

Made in the traditional Champenoise method, the Veuve Ambal Brut Rosé is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gamay with fine bubbles. It is a pale pink color with a nose that shows notes of red fruits and grenadine. In the mouth are lovely fruity flavors of raspberry and currant.
