You can concentrate on technique and finding your style right from the start. Basic features include the fundamentals starting with notes, chords, and scales, and building up to full songs. More advanced features include lessons from a video library of over 3,000 songs and courses, plus an "AI Mode" that listens to ensure you play the correct chord before moving on. With over 80,000 songs and 10,000 chords to learn, you'll never run out of options.
Fret Zealot was perfected after 5 years of development. The design is meticulous and will not interfere with the strings or frets. It's not chemical-based like super glue, so it won't damage your fretboard. You absolutely can remove it after a year or more with no discoloration. The only time we ever experienced discoloration was when the surrounding fretboard faded due to UV / sun exposure and the wood underneath Fret Zealot was slightly darker (it actually protected the wood). As long as you don't leave your guitar out in the sun (not a good idea anyway), that shouldn't happen. Are there any that can be used for bass guitars?
Unfortunately no. The bass version is currently out of production (the app is fully functional for bass, though). We hope to bring the bass back this year sometime. Will it work for someone who is left handed?
Yes! Installation is the same, just with the "spine" of the system on the opposite side of the neck. There is a setting in the app to switch all the displays to left-handed.Do these fit a 3/4 size youth guitar?
Unfortunately no. The guitar must be a full-size guitar with a scale length between 24.5" - 25.6".Will it fit a classical acoustic guitar?
Yes, but the "nut width" must be ~2.0 inches or less. The system won't fit classical guitar necks that are much wider than that.Is it color coded? Would it work if one is color blind?
Yes! Full color displays. You can edit the colors and brightness in the Scales displays to be anything. Can it be removed and reapplied?
The product is removable, but you cannot re-apply it multiple times. The adhesive won't work well enough during a second application (think of bends and slides- the adhesive needs to work very well right down to the microscopic edges so it doesn't pull up when your fingers slide over it)Can you adjust the speed of play when practicing?
Yes! Tab displays have a slider to let you choose exactly the correct speed (or use AI mode to have the display only move on when you play the correct note or chord). The video lessons also have options to slow them down at set speeds.Does it show scales?
Yes, it shows all of them in every key.How much does it cost to access the songs and/or scales on the application?
All the 80,000+ song tabs, every scale, chord, and tuning is free.
