There is no liquid or any need for a refill. Just plug in and enjoy cleaner, fresher air.

Will it drain your car battery if you leave it plugged in?

Newer model cars will disconnect the 9V outlet when the engine is off and doors are locked. For older model cars, the power consumed is very small so it would be the same drain to the battery as leaving an interior light on.

Is there a way you can tell if it’s still on once car is turned off?

There is an LED light that will indicate when the product is turned on.

Does the Element purifier need to be cleaned?

This product does not require cleaning.

Will this product create a static charge?

No, it will not create a static charge.

Does it give off a scent?

It does not give off any scents.

What color light does it emit when on?

It emits blue light.

Does the light change color?

The light does not change color.

How long will it last?

This product will last 3-5 years.

How is it powered?

It will work with the 12-volt inserts in most cars. It will not work with USB.

How often does this product dispel smoke?

This product is constantly running when it is plugged in and the car is on so it will dispel smoke continuously.

Does the inner part turn? Is there supposed to be smoke?

The inner part does not turn and there should be no smoke. As long as the light turns on, the purifier should be working.

Does this create ozone as a result of the filtering process?

No, this item uses negative ions to filter the air. Negative ions purify
the air by magnetically attracting to pollutants until these newly-formed
larger particles become too heavy to remain in the air you breathe.

Is this an ozone type device?

No, this is a negative ion air purifier.

How do you know the device is working, what confirms this is working as intended?

The purifier should be lit up and you should hear a slight sound coming from the device. The way an ionizer purifier works is more subtle in that it operates by emitting negatively charged ions into the air. These ions attract positively charged ions which include things like allergens, dust, and bacteria creating a bond between them. Once this bond is formed, the particles become heavier than normal. They will be too heavy to be floating in the air, thus resulting in cleaner air.
