Product Description

How can the nature of gravity measure time? In the design of the Gravity Alpha watch, two brass and aluminum disc plates are placed on top of each other to function as the second and minute. The space between the two disc plates is the existence of the gravity, and the Rotating Disc-Mechanism functions via a Japanese Miyota automatic movement. The weight of the disc plates are of great importance, as both disc plates need to be perfectly balanced: the distance of the disc minute and the disc second needs to be carefully calculated in every individual watch, and the height between two plates must be under 0.4 mm. Assembly of the watch requires such a precision work that every individual watch must be assembled by hand, two ensure the discs never touch.
