Product Description
The Shard is inspired by spaceships from the future and machined from aerospace grade titanium. Each pen takes up to 8 hours to CNC machine into its unique cross profile. It also features a stunning hand-polished satin finish on its surface, achieved through hours of meticulous work. Each Shard also comes with a Montblanc rollerball ink refill on the inside. Like an artist painting with fire, Gray's master craftsmen individually hand-torch the Shard in order to achieve the Aurora finish. This demanding treatment process utilizes titanium’s ability to change its color when heat is applied, allowing each piece to be completely unique due to the random formation of colors during treatment.
