A rare surviving original bronze statue from Ancient Greece dated to around 150-146 BCE, the original statue was found in a shipwreck off Cape Artemision in 1926, and is rare example of a racehorse in Greek sculpture. This exact museum reproduction is handmade from solid bronze, and has been oxidized to resemble the archaic appearance of the original.
