The star ingredient in all Hempathy products is hempseed oil that comes from the Cannabis Sativa L. (hemp) plant. Among the world’s earliest cultivated crops, hemp is a nutrient-rich botanical whose seeds yield one of nature’s most balanced oils. Hempseed oil is full of essential fatty acids and other plant nutrients that help moisturize and soothe tired skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines.
Chamomile is known far and wide for its calming influence, but it does more than mellow you out when used on your skin. It’s a natural herbal defense against free radicals that cause your skin to age. Amaranth gets its name from the ancient Greek “amarantos,” meaning “unfading.” It’s been a beloved crop in cultures around the globe for centuries. For a plant, it’s unusually high in protein, and it’s rich in amino acids like lysine, which may help your skin retain its youthful appearance.
At night, gently apply to the face in a thin layer and let it absorb while you sleep. For daytime use, give it a few minutes to absorb before going about your day. Oily to normal skin types should use it in place of moisturizer, while normal to dry skin types will benefit most from using under or alongside your prefered moisturizer for an extra boost of hydration. This face oil pairs perfectly with a face roller or Gua Sha tool. You can also run a drop or two through your hair for a little extra shine.
