Yes! There are actually two strings (there is another underneath the paper tab over the filter) and the cones are baked in their rolled shape so they hold their form very well.
Is there a tamper that comes with these?The Herbal Goods Signature Boxes do not come with a tamper.
How do you “finish” them? Do they hold up to twisting?The ebony leaf is baked into a solid form and is too brittle to twist. If you want to pack the cone and then take it with you somewhere, that's where the glass vials can come in handy. If you are enjoying it right then, just pack it almost to the edge and then light it! Works perfectly every time!
Do you burn the string?Yes, this super-thin, all-natural cotton string burns easily without creating any unnecessary fumes or toxins.
