That would depend on the use on the golf course. As a point to point range finder, the device can be used for up to 40M distance. For the 3D dimension measure using a phone camera, the advised range is 3~5M indoor space.
How well does this work inside a building?The iPin Spatial Ruler Pro device is designed to use indoor and can measure up to 40m for point-to-point measurement, and typically 3~5m for 3-axis measurement using phone camera.
Could this be use to measure ones yard?It's possible and it's suggested to use it in the evening time since outdoor daylight may be too bright to see the laser point. The point to point (range measure) measurable length is about 30m, and 3-axis measure is within 5m (working with a phone camera).
Will it measure angles?Yes. iPin Ruler Pro comes with a built-in Pythagorean measure and automatic sum-up by linear measure inputs, angled planes can be measured with these features.
Does this also tell you the angle measurements in degrees?No, the measure functions only tell the length of each side, the angle degree would have to be calculated.
What is the accuracy?In the point to point measure mode, the accuracy is +/-3mm. In the 3-axis image measure mode, the accuracy is within 3%. The measure distance is 40M top.
