Product Description
Italics Winegrowers is a luxury producer of Bordeaux varietals and blends from Napa Valley. Helmed by Proprietor Mike Martin and 2018 Winemaker of the Year Marbue Marke, they employ both estate and négociant winemaking to highlight the best of what Napa Valley has to offer. The winery began over a decade ago with the launch of Thirteen, a blend of wines created from vineyards in each of Napa’s 13 sub-appellations. Over the years as Napa continued to sub-divide, Thirteen became Fourteen, Fourteen became Fifteen, and Fifteen became Sixteen.

The Italics Fifteen Appellations Red Wine is a special re-release from the cellar collection. This wine is designed to showcase what makes the Napa Valley such an amazing growing region — layers of fruit, texture and balance.
A powerful bouquet of black cherry and candied red fruits provides the first hint of what is to come from the second vintage of Fifteen Appellations. The addition of a premier vineyard in Calistoga has not only continued the evolution of Italics’ story, but also added another layer of complexity and mouth feel to this silky Bordeaux-style blend. Extended aging in French oak yields a vintage that can be enjoyed now or — given its mountain fruit sources — can be cellared and aged for 12-15 years.
