Does this require a screen or filter?

The Solo pipe has a built-in restriction that is the perfect size for keeping unwanted ash out but just enough room for air intake. The size of the Solo flower "bowl" is a succinct 2-hit dosage.

Is there a grinder?

No, there is not a grinder. We recommend filling the chamber with ground material.

Which side of solo do you fill?

The aluminum end of the Solo is the side to designed to be filled, as the metal helps to secure the material in place. The black, kitchen grade ceramic end is the mouth piece.

What is the storage capacity of the dugout and the capacity of the pipe?

There are 2 chambers which each hold approximately 3.5 grams of material. The Solo holds 0.09 grams if ground and filled properly, truly a single serving hitter.
