Perhaps a ghostly yet engaging sight, the Specter Chair is truly an amazing design. "A resin-impregnated fabric allows us to 'upholster' the air," creating the illusion of a chair made of floating fabric.
While a seemingly ethereal concept, the process of creating the Specter Chairs is actually a very structured process that combines resin-infused fabric and molding base furniture to create this stunning effect. Ultimately, the Specter Chair questions the "normal" use of materials and, in doing so, introduces a new form to the lexicon of design.

About the Designer
Josh Urso, founder and president of Brooklyn based Josh Urso Design, began making furniture as an industrial design student at Carnegie Mellon University. His unique process has lead him to the development of his resin-impregnated collection of furniture, lighting, wall panels and accessories.
