FAQ
How long does the filter last?

The filter will last roughly 13,000 gallons, depending on water quality.

Where is it made?

These are made in Switzerland.

Are the filters replaceable?

Yes, all of the pump-style water filters have replacement filter elements.

What power source does this unit use?

There is no power source, It is a manual hand pump.

Do I have to boil the water for 10min to drink it?

No, you do not have to boil water after filtering. If you boil water you wouldn't need the filter.

Can it remove heavy metals like lead?

No, our water filters will remove particles down to 0.2 microns.
This includes protozoa and bacteria.

Does it remove chemicals, gas, drugs, and so on like a good filter does?

It is not a household filter.
This is for outdoor water against microorganisms and not a reverse osmosis system, so it will remove particles down to .2 microns like protozoa and bacteria.

What is the difference from reverse osmosis to .2 microns?

Reverse Osmosis is usually used for desalination or household water treatment. It would remove things like salt, etc.

A ceramic filter doesn't do that.
