How many Knocki do you need to smart up a typical home?

Three is a popular number of Knockis for many of users. Some users only have one, and some have over 10! It really depends on how you plan to use them!

Does it work with Z-Wave?

Knocki can control Z-Wave devices via the SmartThings hub. However, Knocki does not work directly with Z-Wave.

How many functions can 1 device do?

One device can perform many functions. You can create as many touch gestures as you like up to a limit of 10. A single gesture can trigger up to 5 tasks simultaneously! For example, you can setup a quick triple-tap to simultaneously dim the lights, start your TV, and activate your Sonos speakers.

How does it connect to the items you want it to control?

Knocki device connects to smart devices through the Knocki app. Inside the app, you can select the smart device (such as Philips Hue) and then provide your login information. The app then pulls in your devices and allows you to define the actions you'd like to trigger.

Is it removable and reprogrammable?

Yes, it is removeable and reprogrammable.

How many gestures can be set on one Knocki?

Each Knocki can remember up to 10 gestures.
