Wedge by Koostik was designed to be the perfect iPad dock. Simple and direct in its design, wedge gives your iPad the perfect place to sit and relax, whether in portrait or landscape mode. With your iPad in portrait mode, wedge provides a natural acoustic boost of 2-3 times the volume output of your iPad’s speaker. Wedge for iPad is compatible with the iPad 2, 3, 4 and iPad Air.
**American Cherry is a highly prized hardwood known for it’s beautiful pinkish-red coloration, which mellows to a deep warm amber tone over time. It is relatively hard and thus finishes to a very smooth surface feel. Cherry has occasional “pith marks” which are small darker spots or streaks that run randomly throughout the tree. These are natural characteristics in the wood.

About the Designer
When prototyping the first Koostik product, designer Jim Simon worked with various materials (including styrofoam!) to come up with the perfect way to amplify the volume of the iPhone's external speaker. After he began working with wood, he reached a balance between aesthetic desirability and extreme functionality. He came to the design the company now calls "The Original," and Koostik, the company, was born. All of Koostik's woods are sourced from suppliers who practice careful management for sustainability, and the natural beauty of the wood speaks for the high quality of the product.
