The manufacturer recommends charging the JumpSmart every 3 Months.

How long is the battery life? If the battery fails, where can you get another one?

We note that after 1,000 cycles there is about 70% decay. The battery is not replaceable.

Is good for phones and laptops?

The JumpSmart and included cable can charge most types of phones, tablets, etc., however, it cannot charge a laptop, as most require specific power supplies that come with the device.
