LLSTOL took root in a small design workshop at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, Slovenia, moved to Kickstarter, and then segued into a full scale business. Slovenia has a dense forest population of about 60% and so the designers at LLSTOL sought to make eco-friendly furniture with a minimal environmental footprint; they chose plywood as their medium and have since created gorgeous furniture and furniture covers.
