The Verrado Electric Drift Trike is a bigger, better, motorized version of the big wheel you had when you were a kid. This motorized drift trike is the beefy older brother of that plastic toy, and it skid-stops even better. Drift Trikes have traditionally been hills-only and gravity-powered. The Verrado requires no pushing, towing or pedaling. Just twist the throttle and fly past your buddies.

The Verrado was born of the Local Motors’ global co-creation community. The community is made up of enthusiasts, hobbyist innovators and professionals. Designers, engineers, and makers all contributed their ideas to concept, develop and improve on the birth of the Verrado. The project was led by Local Motors Mechanical Engineer, Matt Jackson. Matt has a passion for all forms of vehicular transportation. He is a racing enthusiast, motorcyclist and a pilot. He has experience in industries ranging from Shipbuilding to Nuclear Power and left his roots on the East Coast to join the team at Local Motors. His biggest ambition is to master driving/piloting and and every vehicle he has a chance to meet.
