Lucetta by Palomar

In 1956 Ermano Palchetti and his son Massimo began the importation of Japanese reflex cameras to Italy. Since then, the family tradition has continued down the path of modernization, including optical and meteorological instruments, and multiple creative new ways to observe art and the world around us. Named for one of the world's largest astronomical observatories and inspired by philosophy and culture, Palomar has been a cornerstone of Italian innovation for nearly six decades, in which time they have won numerous awards including the Design Plus Awards and a selection in the Solutions 2014 Competition for the Lucetta featured in this sale.
