This Lumi® Photo Printing Kit gives you everything you need to discover the fresh, better alternative to screen-printing. Using Inkodye, a new water—based dye that develops and fixes in sunlight, it makes it easier than ever to print your own durable designs on cotton or any natural fabric, without costly screen-printing equipment. Your wardrobe is a blank canvas.
The free Lumi App makes it easy to quickly mock-up your Inkodye prints, create negatives, and share your designs with friends. Then, you simply snap the Inkodye packet and spread it onto the fabric, blot out excess using a paper towel, create your design using Inkofilm or anything that casts a shadow, and expose it to sunlight or bright UV light for 10-20 minutes (or until the color reaches full saturation). Once you machine wash your fabric using Inkowash to remove unexposed dye, you're good to go.

About the Designer
Jesse Genet is the founder of Lumi and the maker of Inkodye. Now 26, Jesse has been developing and experimenting with printing processes since she was 16 years old. The Inkodye process was inspired by her love of photography and desire to make beautiful prints without expensive equipment. With Inkodye, Lumi is pioneering a new DIY process for printing clothing and accessories using sunlight.
