The MIX table is a tribute to the material of which it is composed: concrete. The shape of the tray is reminiscent of mixing tubs used by construction workers. The metaphor continues with the legs and plates that evoke transfer shovels. The edge of the tray prevents dishes and objects from slipping and its notch simplifies cleaning.
