About the Designer

Roberto Giacomucci is an Architect who lives and works in Ancona.He works as art director with various Italian furniture, lighting and bathroom décor firms. In 1993-1994 he won first prize in the Pesaro Design & Industry competition for a container for recycled waste separation.During the Autumn Macef trade fair in Milan in 1997, the Cremafacile product for Biesse Casalinghi won an award in the Preparation category.

In 2002, the Alalunga clothes horse product of Emporium, was selected for the 18 BIO International Design Biennale in Ljubljana. In 2003, the Ciotola snack bowl product of Emporium was selected for the Adi Index.The Fluida shoe cupboard, also product of Emporium, was selected for the Design Innovation Award at the Cologne IMM in 2004.
