About the Designer

Dennis Murphy is the founder and designer of Manhattan Project Design Shop, a Philadelphia-based lighting and design company. Some of his first designs were the result of necessity, living in a Brooklyn apartment that didn't have a single light socket. Now Manhattan Project Design Shop has grown to include a variety of handsome industrial lighting solutions.
