Founded in 1887 by Homere Clément, Rhum Clément is the iconic rum of Martinique. Distilled in the traditional French style from sugarcane juice rather than molasses, rhum is known for its dry and elegant complexity. Martinique, being an overseas department of France, holds their rhum to a high standard. Rhum, abbreviated from the term rhum agricole, bears the only A.O.C. designation for rum. This means that all rum stating Martinique on its label must follow a rigorous set of rules during each step of production.

The careful production process of Rhum Agricole results in a pure spirit, encompassing the natural aromas and earthy, vegetal character of the sugarcane that is only present in A.O.C. Martinique Rhum Agricole. The elegant and carefully crafted Rhum Clément 15 Year is aged in re-charred Bourbon barrels at Habitation Clément. Located on the Atlantic side of the island, it offers an oceanic breeze that is ever so slightly present in the savory quality of the final aged product.

This exquisite rum shows off fine woody notes accompanied by toasted vanilla, sweet coconut, dates, prunes and chocolate, mixed with subtle layers of tobacco on the long finish. Rhum Clément 15 Year is a true gem and crowd pleaser meant to be enjoyed neat and delightfully paired with a cigar.
