About the Designer

Founded in April 2011 by Neil Marek and Robbie Richard (two boys who met while pursuing fashion degrees at The University of North Texas), MAREK+RICHARD is a causal knitwear line based in Dallas, Texas. It offers a wide range of rad gear in collections inspired by fun stuff like street fashion, youth trends and pop-culture. In the beginning, the label’s founding fathers used funds from prizes won in local design competitions as a means to create their own version of casual menswear: Marek+Richard. Starting out in a small, 900 sqare foot apartment they decided to adopt a vertically integrated, American-made business model. The two built up the company and eventually moved into a larger design studio/production facility. Today they manage an online retail website and wholesale accounts with 13 boutique locations across America including NYC, Chicago, and Washington DC.
