About the Designer

Mario Milana was born in Milan, Italy in 1981. He was immersed in the world of art and design from a young age, thanks to his father, Dario Milana, an exhibition designer and sculptor. Milana graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from the Instituto Europeo del Design di Milano in 2003. His first job out of school was in the Milan studio of Denis Santachiara. In 2005 he moved to New York where he worked with Karim Rashid for 8 years. As a Senior Designer at Rashid’s studio, Milana had the opportunity to work with clients like Alessi, Artemide, Corian, Gufram, Meritalia, Riva1920, Samsung, Slide, Tonelli and Zanotta.
